FAQs
How long is your worship gathering on Sundays?
Great question! Typically, our worship gathering last between 60-90 minutes on a Sunday.
What kind of Church is the Table at the Gathering Place?
The Table at the Gathering Place is a non-denominational, convergent, christian Church. We both value and practice “convergence”. We are a church centered on Jesus Christ. Our faith shapes how we live, worship, and walk together—and we’re deeply rooted in the rich traditions of historic Christianity.
What should I wear?
The short answer is…whatever is comfortable for you! Some people wear jeans and a t-shirt, some wear “Sunday’s best”. Whatever you are comfortable wearing is perfect here at the table.
What is “convergence”?
It’s the belief that the walls dividing Christian groups are coming down—and that’s a good thing. In a world that’s moved beyond church as usual, we believe unity matters more than ever. We believe in the intentional blending of contemporary, spiritual, ancient and evangelical streams (or forms) of worship in our worship gatherings. If that speaks to you, maybe you’re here for a reason.
I’m not a part of the ministry Can I still receive Communion?
Absolutely! It would be our honor and pleasure to welcome you to the table. Everyone is welcome to receive communion here at the table.
